First part of making a list? Grabbing the nearest pen and old receipt to start writing that ish down before you forget it. Halfway through, you're all, "Why am I using pen and paper? This is 2012."
For reals, you need Any.DO - the 2012 version of yesteryear's pen and paper list, with way more options.
When there's something you need to do today, tomorrow, or in the future, add it to your list (by typing or talking). Then, set a reminder, or share with friends all within the app which automatically syncs to your loaded devices.
You can rearrange the order of your "to-dos" by dragging and dropping. Any.DO even pulls in your contacts' info if you add their name to your list so you can hit them up directly from the app.
Instead of crossing off the things you finally did, just swipe to digitally cross them out (they'll stay there until you delete them in case you didn't "get all the party supplies" like ya thought).
They call themselves "The app that makes things happen." So, "Call Ashton Kutcher" like you've been meaning to, "buy that gum" you wish you had on last night's date, and remember to "mail your rent" (plus save the trees) -- with Any.DO.
