Hello from London! Seriously up to my ears in Olympics promotions here – you can’t even step on the train without an authoritative voice reminding you that an additional one million people will be cramming onto the same trains in a matter of days – and don’t even get me started on the commercials! Dish soap, shampoo, cereal… everything claiming to be the “official” choice of the Olympic Games 2012. I don’t know about you, but the only “official” choice I’m excited about during the games is the official theme song by Muse called “Survival“. The photo above is from their show at Webster Hall in November 2004. I think it must’ve been only my 12th photopass, I was such a baby then! Anyway their live shows are so incredible I basically never got over it. Hearing their cinematic track combined with this footage of Olympics is just a match made in heaven. Check out the video below and get psyched for next week – while I plot my escape from the city beforehand.
