Atlanta bad boy troubadours The Black Lips have emerged from a recording studio with Mark Ronson (gasp!) with brand spanking new tracks. Seriously though how did that partnership happen? Was Ronson on the beach somewhere being all “Right ho! How does one follow up producing a Duran Duran album?” only to be smacked in the head by Jared’s wayward Rickenbacker? It must have been fate. However this came about on June 7th Vice Music will release Arabia Mountain into the world. This will be their 6th studio album. Wild, right? To celebrate I thought we’d post this killer video for “Modern Art” which was directed by Kenneth Anger protege Brian Butler! In true Anger fashion there are psychedelic layers and plenty of skulls. In true Black Lips fashion there is a chicken. Please boys, never change.
