In BEST-NEWS-EVER, well, news, our neighbors to the north Young Rival have slipped us their new video for their pogo-inducing single “Nothing You Know Well.” It’s the perfect pop mix of fuzzy riffs and just a touch of unrequited love induced vocals that is indicative of how they’re putting Hamilton, Ontario on the map. If there is any justice in the world delivered by props from iconic bands, their shout out from The Happy Mondays should take ‘em into the next stratosphere! The track itself is off their *highly anticipated album* (©VML) Stay Young which comes out on October 23rd. Fun fact: they’re on Sonic Unyon which is also home to Ringo Deathstarr. Now excuse me while I slam my bedroom door, grab a microphone (hairbrush) and crank this track up to 11. If you hear a bump it’s a scissor kick gone wrong off the edge of my bed.
